BIGLLOU Johnson – Big Man

BIGLLOU Johnson’s signature deep, sultry voice is considered by some
as one of the most heard in the world of blues music radio. His distinctive
dulcet tones have graced BB King’s Bluesville on Sirius XM satellite radio
since its inception. BIGMAN is the long awaited studio album from this
Renaissance singer/songwriter who is also an award winning actor, voice
over artist, producer, philanthropist and sought after international event
host. His first album “They Call Me Big LLou” earned him a Blues Music
Award for Best New Artist Debut.

BIGMAN “could be the poster child for the definition of contemporary
blues” says BIGLLOU. This album combines the electric and
sophisticated vibe of his hometown Chicago with fierce and explosive
guitar techniques, thunderous percussions and declamatory vocals
reminiscent of Memphis’ musical traditions. With big sounding tracks
like Lightnin’ Strike, Shucky Ducky & BIGMAN, BIGLLOU describes what’s
it’s like to be a big man in BLUES. However, he gets intimate, as only he
can on the suggestive Let’s Misbehave and I Got the Fever. BIGMAN is an
incomparable take on contemporary blues, delivered by one of its most
unique voices.

In the tradition of the Coasters and Willie Mabon’s “I’m Mad” and “I Don’t Know”, BIGLLOU delivers a disc full of humor and big fun! What else would you expect from BIGLLOU? He doesn’t disappoint! – Bill Wax
